Nasa’s Perseverance rover heads for Mars


Nasa’s Perseverance rover has launched from Cape Canaveral Air Power Station, marking the beginning of a seven-month journey to the Pink Planet.

As soon as there, it should land in Jezero Crater, which was a lake billions of years in the past.

Its mission is to hunt for proof of historical life on the floor of Mars.
